Welcome to the ‘health and Diversity’ Blogsite. The concept of this Blogsite is to provide a space for quality and meaningful consultation/ Dialogue between the BME (Black and Ethnic Minority) Mental Health Diversity Team, and the local community of South Warwickshire. It’s paramount to appreciate that diversity, culture, and ethnicity cut’s through many peoples lives, regardless of colour or faith.
This portal hopes to promote fascinating tales of recovery from people from the community; hopes to empower other people who need encouragement; will attempt to signpost and provide information where applicable.
The audacity of this site is for people to feel safe and at ease with sharing their experiences of local services with regards to mental health provision. We need you to come forward and to share either the good or really bad experiences. This way you can shape the services you receive. Share your thoughts through stories, or anecdotes, or however you feel appropriate. Please be creative – it could be through art, poetry, animation or even creative writing. You choose!
Health and Diversity is about creativity and solutions, which will hopefully provide the platform for change in many people’s lives.
